Fantastic staff at the reception and the restaurant. We arrive very early and were able to get straight into our room. We had a traditional Bosnian meal, which was very good and the waiter was fantastic.

The hotel is in a very good location. Everything is relatively central no matter where you want to go. Very nice hotel staff. Very courteous. The room is very clean and large. It has everything it needs for a stay. The breakfast was also good and there was everything we needed. The price performance ratio is excellent.

The property was conveniently located. The rooms well equipped and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. It is a family hotel and you can tell they put a lot of care into it. When my taxi didn’t show up, they offered to provide the service themselves, being of great help to me :)

It had been years since I felt so at home on vacation. Vila Aurora is the perfect place to relax, thanks to its welcoming atmosphere, immaculate room cleanliness, complete amenities, and extremely comfortable orthopedic mattresses. The breakfast, probably the best in the area, is generous and served in a central non-smoking area where you can enjoy your meal in peace, in an impeccably clean environment. The location couldn't be better at the base of Apparition Hill, with the Blue Cross a minutes walk away along with the start of the Rosary paths to the statue of Mary. It is also a quiet spot with the wonderful 10 minute walk through the fields to the centre of Medjugorje and St James Church. The facilities couldn't be better: its a nice building with room for a fair number of people, yet feels totally personal. Everything is spotless. Our room was lovely, bright and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast is optional, we had it - well worth it, served downstairs in a nice breakfast area. There's also a convenient small restaurant in the front of the hotel, good value, good food. What is best of all are the lovely people that run this family hotel, really warm and truly hospitable, they couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend staying here 100%. We definately will stay here when we return to Medjugorje. Thank you for looking after us so well!
