I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comic Art Hotel in Ghent, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere that perfectly blends artistic flair with a cozy, welcoming vibe. The decor is truly a highlight, featuring incredible comic art that adds a unique charm to every corner of the hotel. Each room is thoughtfully designed, creating a fun and playful environment that feels both comfortable and inspiring. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—everything from the quirky wall art to the neatly placed amenities made my stay feel special. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Their enthusiasm for the city and the hotel really enhanced my experience. Additionally, the hotel’s location is perfect. It’s within walking distance of many of Ghent’s top sights, making it easy to explore the city. Me and my girlfriend loved wandering through the nearby streets, discovering charming cafes and beautiful architecture. Overall, I highly recommend the Comic Art Hotel to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay in Ghent. The staff are very attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is ideally located and has car parking, which sadly isn’t included for guests and has to be paid for separately.

The building was renovated recently and was well-appointed but also kept a lot of old-world charm. The location was ideal for exploring the old town of Ghent. The room was large and the artwork throughout the hotel was unique and interesting. A salon with comfortable furnishings and an outdoor terrace provided nice communal spaces to relax. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and featured tasty homemade cakes and jams.

    The breakfast buffet is excellent, especially the opportunity to bake your own eggs on a hot plate. The rooms have airconditioning and the bathroom has all the comfort. Parking space is always available close to the room. The hotel is located right next to the Brussels-Ostend freeway, at the Drongen exit.

    The kitchen is excellent. I had not eaten better cod fish in my life. Breakfast was excellent too. Coffee and the cocoa drink was delicious. The design of the hotel restaurant is very good. Rooms looked a bit old fashion but I liked it.
