A warm welcome awaited us and our small dog, 'Nina' from Robert. He could not have been more helpful. The host has thought of everything, a lovely, clean, cosy, warm, and well equipped self-contained unit. It was very quiet and totally private. Having the garden to use was such a bonus. The hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. We even got treated to some home made pie upon checking out. There is a fireplace in the living room with everything you need to start it. Also there's everything you need in the kitchen to prepare and store food, a lot of kitchen utensils, pans, pots, knives, etc. We were here for the F1 SPA GP and it was a perfect choice.

We had a wonderful stay. We loved having a bonfire outside and keeping the house warm inside with the fireplace. We had a delicious dinner inside with the embers of wood in the BBQ. The cabin has everything for cooking and what a normal house has. We visited the Christmas market in Aachen, and the cabin was beautiful with its decorations, lights and Christmas tree. The bus connections were quick. I have to say that the bed was very comfortable, it was difficult to get out of it, but when you saw the views outside from the bed, it was impossible not to get lost on the forest paths. This place is charming and we took with us some good memories.
