The owner is really helpful but doesn't speak English, however the restaurant staff we met were fluent in English. The hotel and restaurant are right in the centre of old Berkovitsa. Multi-story hotel (home) located in suburb neighborhood. Got the balcony room which gave wonderful view of town and mountainside. The dinner in attached restaurant had local foods and drinks and nice atmosphere. Had to leave early to get to Greece but they prepared some pastries for us.
