We were in Bulgaria in April, so before high-season. Therefore, at least we guess so, like in many other places in Bulgaria before, we were the only guests at Chalet Balkan. Which might have contributed to an amazingly quiet and relaxing stay in this beautiful place surrounded by nature, impecable service and good food.

I enjoyed the lovely yard, the wider nature space and also the fact the kids could play with the cats and dog. We saw a rabbit and two deers in the county, which added to the delight. The hosts were amasing, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and provided lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. The food was amazing and we even received a recipe for bulgur in the oven. I'd recommend this place to everyone.
