Nice rooms in a traditional style. The breakfast was good and just enough. You can park in the designated parking area right in front of the house, there's enough room. Also there is a traditional restaurant in the same yard where we decided to have a dinner, the food was well prepared and delicious.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful traditional Bulgarian village. The outside was pretty and well kept with a flower filled courtyard and an outdoor seating area. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was immaculately clean and warm. We loved the rustic feel of the furniture and decor. We were glad of the hotel restaurant serving hot food when we arrived. It was reasonably priced and very tasty with a good range of different meals to choose from. Breakfast was included in the price, which was an added bonus. It was a Banitsa with the choice of tea or a yogurt drink. Coffee was extra.

Authentic Bulgarian village, preserved over time. The house-museums are worth visiting. You could definitely feel proud to be Bulgarian. The only shortcoming is that there are no decent places for lunch/dinner which for a longer stay than a night will be a serious issue.

A perfect location to feel the feeling of old Bulgaria.

A perfect location to feel the feeling of old Bulgaria. A birth place of one of the most famous Bulgarian writers Iordan Iovkov, you can literally feel the atmosphere of his short stories from late 19th century at every corner and looking at each house and restaurant. Strong recommended for a long weekend, also a good starting point for some hiking routes in Stara Planina mountain.

A great place with an original Bulgarian spirit. Peace and quiet when there is no festival. You understand and feel how the ancient Bulgarians lived. Nature is diverse and surrounds you from everywhere. I recommend!

A beautiful, quiet and peaceful mountain village that has...

A beautiful, quiet and peaceful mountain village that has preserved its authentic spirit, architecture and atmosphere. In addition to walking along the cobblestone streets and visiting several museums, there is also the opportunity for walks in the mountains, suitable for children. Several grocery stores and restaurants with delicious traditional food, but they open at noon and close early in the evening. A wonderful place to relax!

A great place to relax with friends or family.

A great place to relax with friends or family. There is a dam for fishermen. Shops and taverns - enough. Quiet and peaceful, but also cultural entertainment. There are natural landmarks within a kilometer. There are no discos or bars. The people are wonderful and friendly.

An extremely unique place, enchanting views, very beautiful architecture. If you are in a guest house and are counting on preparing your own food that you have bought in advance, then you are in the right place. However, if you are counting on the local taverns, then you will definitely be disappointed. The staff here definitely does not know how to win customers, neither with attitude nor with the quality of food!

Our large multi-generational family group had an absolutely delightful experience at this charming hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like family, accommodating our special requests and cooking meals perfectly suited to our group's preferences. The village itself is quiet with limited attractions. We therefore spent a lot of time in the hotel garden and terrace and this turned out to be very relaxing.

The house is gorgeous and it has a beautiful garden. The hosts were very kind and explained everything we needed to know about Zheravna. Delicious traditional Bulgarian breakfast was prepared by the host. Our room was very atmospheric and had a lovely view of the garden and the mountains.

There are no direct bus routes from other cities to Zheravna. The bus stops in the neighboring town of Kotel, and there are no taxis in Kotel. I asked the owners of the guesthouse and they offered to take me from Kotel to Zheravna. I was very grateful.
