We chose our motel listing as it said Restaurant attached,...
We chose our motel listing as it said Restaurant attached, however, it was not open. We were given the menu at checkin and told to call the establishment to let them know when we would come for breakfast or dinner, but the restaurant was always closed, we never saw anyone eating there, and when we went to the office at 7:00 PM to return the menu (1/2 of which we were told at check in was no longer available) all of the office doors were locked and there was no reply when we knocked. ( sign said office was open until 10:00). We decided then to eat our meals elsewhere on the island for the rest of our stay. There was nowhere else to eat at providence bay -all restaurants closed! (we were there on a Tuesday and Wednesday, leaving Thursday after Labour Day) The bakery was opening on Friday for weekend guests, and The fish and chip restaurant was closed as well (open only for Saturday and Sunday) the only other place open was a tiny business which sold Jamaican JERK food. It was our first visit, to see the rest of the island you need transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we plan to return. But due to Covid there was no restaurants open for dine in. Or closed for the season. We visited beginning of October.Guest review byHelenCanada

This place is timeless and beautiful, and nearly empty most of the time, especially considering its beauty. Cottage had quite a few amenities that we did not access but were available. It was also very close to the venue we required and were very happy the cottage was available.
