I love the whole vibe of the place. It's 1950ish old school. Fantastic! Roadside motel. Very clean, staff extremely friendly. It was just a pleasure to experience a night there. Will definitely recommend it and we'll come back

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store.

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store. There was a very small coffee maker that didn't work which was ridiculous. The room was very well laid out with the beds in two parts. The towels were yellow and the sink smelled bad until morning. There was a big stain on the carpet that we reported to the motel clerk. When we checked out, the clerk had closed the door before 11 and we walked around the building where the housekeeper told us that he closes the door during prayer. Pray well but don't close the door yourself during business hours.

    People friendly. Nursing home awesome!

People friendly. Nursing home awesome! Pleased to see aunt in such a lovely, comfortable place. The River restaurant was wonderful! Food and service excellent. Howard Johnson s motel a disgrace. Would never stay there again. Will have to look into other accomodations next time we're there...or go back over to Houltin ti stay overnight.

If you want a decent restaurant in Woodstock with delightful staff, excellent prices, and well-prepared food, choose "Walter's Table" (not fancy but otherwise great). For a tavern with good food, there's "The River Restaurant"; but do NOT go to the "Full Moon" (outrageous prices for nothing special). Didn't visit the next 2, but they appear good: "Creek Village" and "Thai Hut."

We travel to the area atleast once or twice a year because of family connections. It is conveniently located for that reason. Woodstock is a lovely town with lots to see and do. It is easy to get around and there are lots of choices for restaurants

The breakfast was excellent, pretty much anything you could want for your breakfast meal, and, the staff were friendly and efficient, making sure all the selections were topped up as needed. The breakfast room itself was clean, bright, and a pleasing decor. We have stayed at this location before and forgot our bathing suits this time, but in the past have enjoyed using the pool as well. Our go to place in Woodstock.

The shower head pressure was pretty good. Lots of hotels/motels shower pressure sucks. The bed was comfortable. Convenient to gas and food and quick to the highway. Able to check in around 1130pm. I liked that you could park right in front of your room and no stairs (2nd floors)

As the (tired) saying goes: Location, location, location ...right off the TransCanada Highway, but not noticeable within the hotel; large & well appointed room with power-receptacle strategically located throughout and good lighting in the evening.
