It is literally a few steps away from the border with Italy, and I was able to walk with my dog right up to a boundary stone in the middle of a field! The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. There is parking place in front of the hotel entrance. The environment and nature are beautiful & peaceful. We were already on the road for a week when we reached Val Müstair and felt like being at home in Chavalatsch. Breakfast was also great quality and more than enough. Very good price-quality ratio.
