Extremely nice and friendly staff, surprisingly great food in a hotel restaurant (the venue is located in a small village), outside terrace and softest mattress possible (if you love them soft you will be on cloud 9). It´s people that make or break your hotel experience, not furniture - so even kind of humbly appearing venue at a first sight can make your stay worth of ***** ritzy experience. And the people in this hotel are amazing and you do feel welcome and appreciated. If I have an opportunity in future to come to this Swiss region again I will definitely pick Auberge Communale à l'Union again, without hesitation!

    It's a better-than-expected experience! Everything is made with a personal yet stylish touch. Separate entrance, cute garden with lightening, nice view. I deeply like the mix of modern and antique in the hotel. French style of breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and freshly made juices. I adore that my ham&cheese plate was decorated with a fresh flower. And this is the attitude for everything!
