We loved absolutely everything about our stay here and have only great things to say. Richard and Tania are so incredibly warm and welcoming, we felt just like we were guests in their home. Our room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the lake and mountains from our balcony, and everything was decorated with a personal touch. The breakfast service was such a lovely way to start our day as well, with delicious fresh brewed coffee and a beautiful spread including custom prepared eggs. The location is perfect because it is so peaceful on Brienz and just a quick 5min drive into Interlaken for the fun of the city. This is also makes a great home-base for day trips in the surrounding areas. They provide good information on popular hikes and activities nearby and were so kind to help out with dinner recommendations and provide us with a travel pass for the area. This was truly the best experience and we can not wait to come back!

Awesome location, great size room and nice to get a balcony to see the gorgeous view. Breakfast was pretty good (Nutella on tap!!) but the thing that impressed me the most was the staff. The manager Roger was very responsive when we had a delayed train and thought we couldn't make the check in time. When we arrived with two minutes to spare, he still took the time to tell us about where to explore in Interlaken and even highlighting a map for us. What a gem!

The view of the this hotel is magnificent, on the one side you have the mini houses view, on the other side you get the lake view. Both are magnificent . The room is also spacious and warm. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my dog. I luckily got upgraded room to a larger, direct access to the terrace. It was very spacious, bed mattress was new and comfortable, all the facilities were renovated so the cleanliness was excellent. The surrounding view was exceptionally beautiful, and there were plenty of walking courses. Breakfast was made with local ingredients which is great,small but filling. All the staff were friendly, especially the owner, Celine. She was very professional and friendly. Thank you for her warm hospitality.

Super friendly and hospitable staff. We had our room booked and paid ahead of time, but when the staff noticed that we were less than satisfied they upgraded us with no extra cost. The hosts, Dani, Linda and Heidi are just absolutely phenomenal! We arrived as guests and left as friends. They go the extra mile in everything they do! The rooms were perfect and the location and view is priceless! The hot-tub overlooking the mountains and lake is out of this world….We have never seen anything this beautiful.

It has very relaxing surroundings.

It has very relaxing surroundings. Cows bells and birds sounds are like background music in a spa. Sundlaenen is just 5-7 minutes drive to interlaken and 20 minutes drive to beautiful Thun. Lake Brienz and lake Thun are there to offer their best within a stone's throw.
