Sea view room had excellent views towards Gulangyu, with information of the monuments you can see, as well as some paper and coloured pencils to draw. The decoration is quirky and fun, making reference to the culture and history of Xiamen. Location is very good, close to Zhongshan Rd and short taxi drive to Nanputuo and Xiamen Uni. The hotel receptionist, Lydia Li (guest service manager), was extremely nice and helpful, aiding us to book a tour to the Nanjing Tulou, and was very attentive as well during our stay.

Fantastic hotel if you want to explore Xiamen and the region. The island of Gulangyu is a fantastic place to stay, and this hotel was well located on the island. The hotel had a fantastic boutqiue feel, with very accommodating and friendly staff, clean and well designed rooms, good AC, local cuisine for breakfast, and a lovely boutique art shop in the hotel as well. We travelled with friends and family (including a small child) and everyone enjoyed their stay. Additionally, there is plenty close to the hotel including restaurants, convenience stores and other shops.

First of all I would like to give big thumbs up to all the staff of Atour Hotel, they are so polite, helpful and efficient. Tea was served upon arrival at the reception, check in was quick and simple, all done in a professional manner with a smile. The room was spacious, well design, simple but modern. The bed was comfortable and clean. What I like the most is the wireless charger, there were 3 in the room, so convenient. Air conditioning was good, unlike some other hotels, you can indeed change the temperature and fan speed of your own room. The only comment is the maintenance of the shower, brown marks and water marks were noticed along the edges. Location of the hotel is also good, only 11 rmb by taxi to Zhonshan Road. Also lots of restaurants and stores nearby.
