Perfect location, next to shopping malls and metro. We got a free upgrade and the room had an amazing view. bathroom was awesome. Bed was huge and comy. Staff was very nice with good english. They stored our luggage for a day after check out. Breaskfast choice was incredible. So much food, asian and western food. Choices for vegan and vegetarian as well.

Breakfast was good, with many oriental options, sometimes labelled in English, and at other times not, but altogether navigable. The buffet options were great. The minibar was stocked and replenished daily with non-alcoholic beverages, and bottled water was in constant supply in the rooms. The cleaning is of a particularly high standard.

    The choice of restaurants was good and the food quality was excellent. We went for business primarily. It’s not a city I would choose for tourism. Extremely disappointed with the Canton Tower experience. Most certainly wouldn’t waste your money on this.

    Guangzhou is a busy city.

    Guangzhou is a busy city. Very crowdy and bustles with activity. The subway is always busy and worse at peak hours. Chinese are generally friendly but their reaction to a black person makes me laugh. Especially the elderly and children

One can really feel the Charm of Beautiful GuangZhou City walking around Pedestrian Street especially individual personal Safety. Feel Proud, Happily & Safely walking around the City-without Fear of being disturb or rob. Try the Night Ferry Cruise enjoy the beautiful lighting along the Pearl River. Worth For Money.

    Guangzhou is a bustling city and easy for a foreigner to explore. The metro is English friendly and extremely cheap. For shopping go to Beijing Road or walker's street close to Sharmian Island where the White Swan Hotel is. Consider a walk around the island and go back in history to visualize the European settlements and embassies that once controlled the area, it's also had signs in all areas saying, No Dogs, No Chinese. It's worth a look at the old churches and architecture. To escape the heat, take a morning trip to Baiyun mountain, lovely walks, views of the city. For many years I have been a fan of the Zoo, Once nothing but cages and small confined areas now much friendly. Also, pandas on view. If you are into history, there are a few gold mines their and for a lazy night, take a river cruise up the pearl and look at the night lights.

    First of all, I would like to thank Paco Hotel for the transfer to the Canton Fair - it was well organized and supplied with water and snacks. Everyone in the hotel is willing to help you. The room I got was spacious. The breakfast is good - it is a nice mixture of global and local food. The hotel is located close to the Pazhou complex (Canton fair) - it is around 20 minutes of travel by bus. The metro station is just few minutes away by foot - you can travel to and from the airport using the same line.

    Very strategic location - within walking distance from Guangzhou East station, and just across the road of Po People Park mall with plenty of food options within a stone's throw. The hotel is fairly well-furnished, probably rather upscale in the yesteryears. Staff has been very helpful - when my initial room was too warm with ?malfunctioning aircond, the frontdesk staff helped me to immediately switch to another room without much hassle. All in all, a decent choice for Guangzhou city centre hotel!

    I really liked the location of the hotel itself, right in the old part of the city, where the Cantonese Opera Museum, a beautiful river canal, and street food markets are located. I lived in the hotel for three weeks. Every day they changed towels, put tea, the staff answered all questions, despite the lack of English, and were really friendly!
