Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

Set in Santa Sofía, Nai-Chambira offers accommodation with access to a garden. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge.

I've had a great time staying with Crisanto and Diana! The hospedaje is a lovely house located at the edge of the rainforest. There's lots of insects, birds, exotic trees and plants near the house, and even some tiny monkeys! Diana's food was amazing (she catered to my dietary restrictions too), and Crisanto was a great guide, taking me to the forest both during the day and at night. I also spent some time cooking with Diana, and got some traditional painting done. I really felt like a part of their family, and highly recommend the hospedaje!

Amazing place in a beautiful location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us organize the boat to get to Reserva and back to Leticia. We did several additional tours with them, exploring the Amazon jungle and the surroundings. They care deeply about local communities. Food was great, two of us were vegans and they adjusted all meals for us so it wasn't an issue. The non-vegan part of our group was also extremely pleased with food, especially with the fish, served in a variety of ways. It is a quiet place, you get to connect with other travelers. Totally the best way to explore the Amazon.

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Good place to stay. It's in the village of San Martin, gives you a more local insight. Very friendly staff, they organize tours in the surroundings and activities in the village. They offer meals too. Would recommend!

Its was an amazing experience! Getting to know the town and its people was lovely, everyone was very welcoming and kind. Gustavo was really really kind, explained me a bit the community a but of history, I learned about their customs, their current situation as a community and how they are envisioning their town to make it better. With Gustavo you can go to explore the jungle, he also can bring you to tours in his boat. The place where a slept was good for resting after long hours of walking. The kitchen was perfect, super well equipped.

Great location in the small village Mocagua, on the Amazon river. Nice, simple, comfortable rooms cleaned daily by the awesome staff. Beautiful surroundings, gardens and close to the jungle. Lots of birds, animals, insects around the premises. Just take a flashlight out at night and you will be amazed. Accommodating staff, just ask, they will do everything they can to accommodate the guests. Nice owner is always around makkg sure we were happy with our stay. They offer lots of activities to choose from, all nice and safe. We had the highest room with the terrace in the resort, with beautiful views of the river and sunset. Food is good and traditional/tipical, they make fresh juice with all the meals. All food is cooked daily, my favorite was the fish. But everything is delicious. The town is clean and it's worth exploring on foot, morning, day or night with flashlights to look for animals at night. The people in Mocagua are super friendly, we were even invited for lunch by one of the residents. Twice. Overall a great experience with La Cieba.
