If you like waking up to birdsong in the morning surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, this is for you. François is very helpful with suggestions and organising jeep tours, house riding, etc. There is a great little restaurant serving very good food. People are very friendly, and I stayed here longer than planned.

Huaka-yo is set in pristine jungle scenery, so quiet and restful, a real chance to relax and rejuvenate. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and happy. I was woken to the sound of bird song and saw many different species. My en suite room was spacious with everything I needed. 250m from San Agustin Archaeological Park. The park is absolutely amazing with the most wonderful statues & tombs. An absolute must for anyone in this area.

I came to stay for a few nights and stayed for ten... I love this place. The views of the mountains are perfect, there are many birds around, it is very quiet and clean, you can make coffee or tea. Decent wifi. Nice dog. Sebastian, the manager, is very friendly and will go out of his way to help you if you need something.

Great budget hotel in the heart of the San Agustín community. The pool is a welcome addition. The hosts were fantastic helping us at all stages of our trip compensating for our lack of Spanish with google translate. Breakfasts were great quality and value. A great place to stay.

This accommodation is located in beautiful calm surroundings. It is walking distance from both the Archaeological Park and the centre. The room was spotless, bed comfortable, with private bathroom and lovely hot showers ( much needed after days of hiking & exploring). The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. He even gave me a lift to the centre on his motorbike. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for your stay in San Agustin. One of the best places I've stayed at in Colombia.
