Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Is a one in a lifetime experience to fall asleep inside to the jungle and still feel safe. Thanks to Martin, Gabi, Fran and the entire team!

Staying at this hostal with a local family was an unforgettable experience! It offered an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the Macedonia community. We had incredible adventures, including a night walk through the jungle, a canoe ride on the river, and an amazing trip to a neighboring community in Peru. The chance to observe the stunning nature up close was truly special. The food was delicious, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. If only we could have stayed longer!

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Good place to stay. It's in the village of San Martin, gives you a more local insight. Very friendly staff, they organize tours in the surroundings and activities in the village. They offer meals too. Would recommend!

The hostal is located directly next to Amazonian river. A very beautiful and unique place, especially for the sunset! The hole family who run the place is very kindful and helpful. You can book a completely program with a variety of experiences, in the forest, the river and an indigenious community. But also some single adventures. The guide is a local Ticuna, so you can learn a lot about the culture. I highly recommend the place ;)

I've had a great time staying with Crisanto and Diana! The hospedaje is a lovely house located at the edge of the rainforest. There's lots of insects, birds, exotic trees and plants near the house, and even some tiny monkeys! Diana's food was amazing (she catered to my dietary restrictions too), and Crisanto was a great guide, taking me to the forest both during the day and at night. I also spent some time cooking with Diana, and got some traditional painting done. I really felt like a part of their family, and highly recommend the hospedaje!

Had a wonderful experience in the hotel. Good clean rooms (with airco, very much needed here!), nice food, and great and helpful staff. What a wonderful location in the heart of the forest, waking up each morning to watch monkeys and birds in the forest. Loved the adventure of walking through the forest and canoing across a river to get to the house. Excellent hosts who paid attention to details and always looked after us very well. Meals that were always plentiful and fresh. A lovely family who all worked together to make our stay a special one. There is no power or internet so it was candlelit dinners and early to bed each night, enabling me to make the most of the cooler mornings for searching for wildlife. The double bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the quality insect net that meant I didn't have to worry about insects during the night. Great that they provided good quality gumboots for everyone if needed. Don't forget to bring your torch - for light in your room at night, as well as for exploring the wildlife outside at night. The boat trips in high quality boats were a highlight providing cool relief from the tropical humidity while spotting wildlife along the way. Appreciated them taking the time to slow down to look at wildlife along the way to places, and the family's knowledge of the local plants and wildlife were fabulous.

We stayed as two friends for 5 nights and could not recommend this place more. We felt extremely welcomed, Sara and German were excellent hosts and together with their sons Calet and Miguel and their daughter in law Ruth they made sure we had an excellent stay. They accommodated my vegetarian diet with no problems and all our meals were delicious and healthy home cooked food. They even organised our transfer from Leticia and Ruth collected us from the airport. They made a full programme of activities for us, it was varied and we saw lots of wildlife as well as some insight into local life. The room was very comfortable, huge beds with mosquito nets and even a fridge in the room to keep your drinks cold. They provided drinking water too for us whenever we needed. The common area was lovely and stays cool throughout the day with hammocks to relax in. We stayed for one night in the jungle in hammocks with our guide Israel who was extremely knowledgable and cooked us a wonderful dinner. Highly highly recommended to stay here!!
