This place is a feast for the senses - it is stunning visually, the food is exceptional and fresh, and we slept so well every night. It was our favorite stay of three hotels on our trek through Costa Rica. We were in awe of the landscape, the vibrant design of the casitas, and the care that has gone into making such a special spot. The manager of the property was gracious, set us up with activities as requested, and adds to the joy of this place. If you are a creative, bring your materials - you will find inspiration here! She was enchanting to our whole family and inspired our daughter to want to paint more right when we returned home.

This is a hidden gem. The family is very warm and welcoming and provide excellent service. The room was well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding and their dinner was very good also.

The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

Everything you need and more! The host is wonderful, so nice and accommodating. We were able to tour the property to see all sorts of beautiful birds and monkeys, plus she offered some fresh vegetables from her huge garden and made delicious breakfast. It’s super close to the park with multiple point of views of the way. Fully equipped house with comfy beds in the middle of pure nature!

After a week in Costa Rica and being in one of the worst accommodations I have ever stayed at, Cattleya really felt like home! Very comfortable rooms, big kitchen where you could prepare meals with everything you need, host that books for you all the tours you want and gives you any kind of information! There is parking for the cars and you could then walk to the centre. That’s it - just perfect!

This place is absolutely incredible, a must stay!! Perfection from start to finish. Check in staff were phenomenal with organising tours and the tents are fantastic, so much fun! The San Lucas Tree Top dining experience is also a must do!! Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The wildlife at your balcony is truly amazing. Staying in the main lodge the first night we saw hummingbirds, squirrels, agouti and coati along with many other stunning bird life. The staff in the restaurant/bar are friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks are good standard. We stayed the second night in a seperate lodge as a forrest room and this had the most amazing glass shower overlooking the forest as did the balcony. Both rooms were very spacious, very comfortable beds and luscious amenities. The brewery on-site was a big bonus to unwind after a days activities and has great views of the garden and lake with loads of bird and animal life.
