If you are looking for a peaceful place, in nature, with excellent hosts, this is undoubtedly the right place. The rooms are very welcoming. Several breakfast options, always well prepared. The whole farm is wonderful, a fantastic pool, very well-maintained common spaces, with plenty of space to walk and lots of wildlife. It's close to several national parks. Roger and his wife are wonderful hosts! Always concerned about your stay and showing you around, with lots of tips, always available to help. In addition, they are extremely concerned about transforming the area into a better place, very concerned about the surrounding nature and wildlife. We loved talking and getting to know each other better and we have no other way of expressing how fantastic this place was - next time we return to Costa Rica we will definitely come back here!

The genuine kindness of our hosts was really moving.... Letting us taste different types of juices...helping us to plan our visit to the volcano areas and helping our son who had a skinburn on his arms. The lodge itself is very authentic. The garden benefits from more than 40 years of carefully maintenance with lots of love..with flowers and trees you think you find yourself in a botanical garden. Hummingbirds are flying around your head during breakfast. And finally...the food was gorgeous...homegrown vegetables and fruits and produces such as ricotta cheese..very royal quantities...your own grand mother would not have spoiled you so well. Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.

beautifull jungle walk in the property with access to the beautifull river. Tucans and other birds visited us every morning. two minutes from the villa, is one of the nicest walks to a great watrfall.
