The hotels has been recently (2025} renovated and the rooms were very comfortable. The pool area is yet to be renovated, but it was clean and the water was warm. The location is perfect (300 metres from the start of the hiking paths). Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was good, including breakfast. The prices of the stay was a bit on the high side though.

The apartment is perfectly situated between 2 Eifelsteig etappes, in a small village that was severely impacted by the flood in 2021. But the people persevere and are the kindest you’ll find. The village is still recovering but lovely to visit. Everything in the apartment was brand new and was carefully placed with comfort in mind. The bed and couch are firm but comfortable, the Jura was filled to the top with coffee beans and the fridge was cool when we arrived. The pictures are exactly what you can expect. Be sure you are okay with walking stairs (normal). There is one staircase up to the apartment, and one in the apartment if you will be using the second bedroom. Nothing too strenuous and in the Eifel I imagine you need to be able to deal with height difference anyway. It’s quiet around the apartment, no traffic or other noise during the night. You don’t need an alarm clock, the church will tell you at 7:00 it’s time to get going. The owner is very responsive, all the information we needed was provided upfront and any information request was found out for us. For food, I recommend you try Brauhaus. Very friendly people, great food and drinks. We had a great time and our dog was very welcome. You probably need to reserve a table when visiting in the weekend. We had been looking forward to the Greek restaurant near the Rewe but I will tell you to avoid that one at all cost. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. The place looks new, very clean, and well maintained. The surrounding area is perfect, peaceful and beautiful. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. Daniela is such a nice host, she replies quickly and even answered our calls right away. We came with our dog and were pleasantly surprised that everything was prepared for him, water and food bowls, a comfy bed, a blanket, and even a lovely dog snack as a kind gesture. We really appreciated that thoughtful touch. We would definitely love to come back again if we visit this area in the future!
