I love the historic buildings and cathedrals.
I love the historic buildings and cathedrals. I also love the view, the areas we walked along the river, the stores and market we visited along the way. I loved the food we tried. The people in the stores and market were nice. The people in the train station were not very helpful. This is not a tourist city, and so it doesn't offer much attractions or things to do but there was still enough to fill up three days. Frankfurt is so much more than a financial hub. A vibrant city and Rich in culture and the arts. An abundance of lively cafes and bars There is a stunning Botanical Gardens in Palmengarten - a green oasis in the middle of the city and well worth a visit. This was a two day stopover.
This was a two day stopover. Hotel is in nice area of town and U Bahn stations an easy walk. Restaurant next door looked great but didn't have enough time.
