The first thing I noticed upon arriving in Ingolstadt is the cleanliness of the area from the moment I stepped off the train. I had travelled from Cologne through Berlin, Dresden and Nurnberg, stopping a view nights in each place, and Ingolstadt was the best ‘first impression’ of a city I experienced. This continued throughout the 3 days I spent there. The train station is located in a leafy area next to a beautiful park and surrounded by 3 churches. The city has numerous walkways and cycle routes alongside the river and through beautiful gardens. The city is extremely peaceful and had beautiful architecture and many historic buildings and sights. You will find good coffee shops and some of the best traditional food dishes in Germany. Nice little town.
Nice little town. Worth to stay couple of days and explore museums, downtown, and restaurants. We had dinner at Gasthaus Daniel - great food. Enjoyed walking around the downtown. Better to stay at the hotel in the centre and explore surroundings.Guest review bynadine_eCzech Republic

The staff is great, too. Has its own parking (although paid) right in front of the main entrance. If visiting the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt, the hotel is a great choice, as it is close to it. The breakfast is good, but there were no 'hot' food options (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.) except for boiled eggs. A real traditional hotel but with a good level of comfort. The breakfast is good, freshly cooked scrambled eggs with bacon but also the usual cold buffet. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
