The location to Marburg was perfect. All of the Hotel personell were super friendly and extremely helpfull. Food in the resteraunt was delicious. The room was very comfortable and clean. The ouside surroundings, garden, were well maintained. I would reccomend this Hotel completely and we will definately return. For sure 10/10

The room was very comfortable. It had a small office space for me to work, right next to the window. Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of things to try out every day of my stay. Since the hotel is located in a prime location, I had no problems finding a good restaurant to have my dinner. I would definitely stay here.

Beautiful hotel, the most comfy beds and pillows, very nice staff members, and well equipped gym. The A/C in the room worked well and one can adjust it to their liking throughout the day. I will only be staying at NOXX whenever I am traveling to Marburg :)

Very comfortable and spacious rooms with great facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable and although there was no AC the room stayed quite cool despite it being 28-30 degrees during the day.

Marburg is very pretty and I found lots of walks most are uphill so you have to be fit. there is a river Elizabeth church and a castle on the top of the hill, although I never got there. there is also a botanical garden to see and the oldtown is lovely. the bus service is very reliable.

Lovely place, well worth a visit.

Lovely place, well worth a visit. Traffic regime in town a bit chaotic due to 'green' local policies, but sufficient parking for those who can find it. Mind the traffic calming measures/cycling lanes. Beautiful gothic Church of St. Elisabeth, historic town centre with old university buildings, lovely restaurants and some very nice shops. Gorgeous views from the well-preserved castle but hills quite steep with many steps. Lots of students with active night-life during term time. Beautiful surrounding area, perfect for walks and cycling. Superb, large Botanical Gardens with nice café (note the short opening times, though).

It is a historic university town, overlooked by a 13th...

It is a historic university town, overlooked by a 13th century castle. Hilly but full of architectural gems from a 13th century church to a 16th century Town Hall and countless half-timbered 16/17th houses in the Old Town, having escaped any serious damage during WW2. A day and an overnight stay, I would say, is essential.

It was so easy to stroll through Marburg and access anything...

It was so easy to stroll through Marburg and access anything from the botanic gardens to shops and riverside cafes. The shops are interesting and not of the chain store variety which added to the charm. The architecture is amazing . The business people of this city were helpful and friendly. Eating places are easy to find.

good, I would recommend for the accommodation to Hostel...

good, I would recommend for the accommodation to Hostel Marburg one. it is on the first floor of the main station and everything is the best. you can easily just leave your staff there where you don't need to carry for long distance that is very easy especially for those who have long travel to get there.

We visited Marburg every day of our stay.

We visited Marburg every day of our stay. There is every style of restaurants serving all types of food. There is a beautiful castle to walk around the exterior and the views are outstanding. The city was exceptionally clean and good value for money. I preferred the old town but there were benefits to both new and old. Well worth a visit.

I couldn’t go to the restaurant due to lack of time, but it looked nice. The downside is that they only open for dinner. The room was clean, just a bit noisy. Breakfast didn’t have much variety, but it was cheap (only 10 euros), so I guess that was to be expected. A heads-up for non-Germans: to enter the hotel you had to call a number, which is clearly a problem if you don’t have a phone with a German code. I contacted the hotel before my arrival to let them know my arrival time and so they could open the door for me manually.

Breakfast was awesome and the Attendant really took care of us. Beds were adequate. Bathroom facilities were very nice. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Hotel is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood.
