Amazing 4 days using Meersburg as a base to explore the beautiful villages around lake Konstanz. Meersburg is an incredible medieval town with the oldest inhabited castle in Germany with an intact dungeon. The entire region is surrounded by the lake and vineyards. Lots of lovely swimming spots, plus great cycling and hiking paths. We enjoyed some fabulous meals in Meersburg and tasted some lovely white wines. This area is a hidden gem, lots to see and do. The old castle is for sure worth a visit.
The old castle is for sure worth a visit. The oldest museum in Germany. Really great to learn and you get a feeling how life was if you listen to the audio tour. Make sure your cell phone is charged before you start the tour.Guest review byJohnsonGermany

The woman who does the business didnt even charge me for my dog which i found really nice, check in is done quickly and earlier than it was supposed to be, everyone was very nice to me:) water boiler and the fridge are nice additions to have as well at first struggled to find the reception, but you should just go to the nice lady at the shop next to the hotel entrance and she will check you in and give you the key:)Guest review byPolinaGermany
