    Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location with nice mountain view. Excellent meals at hotel and Brenner Bau in nearby Bishofswiesen. Easy driving access in nearby areas - not overcrowded in October season.

    Schönau am Königssee is a truly magical place, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. The crystal-clear waters of Königssee, framed by towering alpine peaks, are simply breathtaking. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was peaceful and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. The town itself is charming and serene, offering a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Whether hiking, boating, or just enjoying the scenery, Schönau am Königssee is a must-visit for nature lovers. We can’t wait to return!

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely.

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely. Such a beautiful and peaceful ride over to the island. The trumpet was great and the echo was brilliant. The only problem was the captain of the boat did not explain on the ride over the history of it all in English. He claimed to not know that there were English speakers on board.

    Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful.

    Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful. Hiking, you will mostly see only Germans or Austrians. Is you take the ferry, which you should, you'll see people from everywhere and it feels more touristy, but still beautiful.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.

    Property location is facinating. I saw many negative comments but after came here i was wondered. This place is really good. Reception also frindly to me. And all the things are clean. Breakfast table is amaizing. This is better for this price. I got no 17 room in 2nd floor with Alphs mountain view. Wonderful hotel experince

    This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect, with an outstanding view that adds so much to the experience.
