The hotel lies in a small village, but yet it has a quite big garden in the back. A very good thing with the hotel is the possibility to check in early! We could check in at 12 o’clock, and we took our kids to the hotel swimming pool, which we had to our selves for all the time we were there. The kids loved it (3 and 4 years old). Breakfast was varied and good. The family room was very big and everything was clean and nice. The sofa bed for our kids was quite hard, but for kids it is ok. For dinner we drove 5 min to the next village, Steinfurt, and had dinner at Pöttken Ristorante Italiano, which I highly recommend! (Steinfurt also has a beautiful castle, but it was closed when we arrived.)

Super friendly and accommodating owners of this beautiful hotel . You find the most wonderful antique wooden furniture here to make you feel like being in your hometown castle . The breakfast buffet comes with eggs , the best I have been eating in along time and cheese , sausages, bacon , Brötchen , Schinken.. like from a farm. The rooms are big , clean , excellent beds, beautiful decorations . You feel the love and care ! I come back in summer!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional, on arrival they offered the use of the garage so we could park out motorcycles securely. The rooms were modern, comfortable and immaculately clean as was the whole of the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant, the food and the service were brilliant, the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed but it seems to be very popular with hotel guests and locals. The hotel is a short walk into the centre of the Old Town where there are lots of very nice bars and restaurants.

It‘s an easy walk to the historic town centre and the hotel has its own parking. Having a restaurant downstairs which is open all day proved convenient. Most of all I was impressed by the staff, who were always friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

A huge bedroom, the Swimming pool was excellent and the breakfast superb! Everything was very clean throughout the hotel. Also good secure overnight storage for bicycles.
