The location is great, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean, cozy, comfortable... but what is standing out is the exceptionally welcoming and friendly attitude of the two owners - you feel treated as a very special guest from the beginning till the end of your visit. The hotel exceeded all expectations! The room was more spacious than many others in the same category. It had everything we needed — and even more! For example, there was an ironing board and iron, plus lots of little extras to make the stay more comfortable. The only thing missing were slippers, but we asked at reception and they provided them with no problem. The room also included a kettle, a small coffee machine, and all the supplies for tea and coffee. There was also a reusable bottle, and on our floor, we could refill it with cold water — even sparkling — from a dispenser. Breakfast was 10/10! Everything was delicious and there was a wide variety to choose from. The staff was very attentive and made sure everything was in order at all times. At check-out, we were able to leave our luggage without any issue, as our train was in the evening. They even gave us numbered tags for each item — I've never seen that before, great system! There’s also a gym at the hotel, though we didn’t get a chance to use it.

    Our favorite places in the area were the beautiful surrounding countryside and the charming village of Waldbüttelbrunn itself. We especially enjoyed exploring the local trails and taking in the peaceful scenery. We had a lovely meal at a local restaurant in the village, which served delicious traditional German cuisine. The food was hearty and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. Getting around Waldbüttelbrunn was quite easy, especially if you enjoy walking or cycling. The area is well-connected, and we found it simple to navigate. One thing we would avoid on our next visit is staying for only one night—it felt too short to fully enjoy everything the area has to offer. Also, we found the bed a bit too soft for our liking, but that might be perfect for others. Overall, what we liked most was the tranquility and charm of the area, along with the warm hospitality we received. The only small downside was the bed's softness, but that’s a matter of personal preference. We highly recommend a visit!

    Waldbüttelbrunn is small and quiet.

    Waldbüttelbrunn is small and quiet. However, you can still find supermarkets to buy the daily stuff. I will call this is a sleeping town. People may like it as same as I do because it gives me a fresh and relaxing feeling. I and my husband brought our dogs out for a walk every morning around the town during our stay there.
