Lovely personnel, very responsive, open to any wishes and ready to take into account all considerations from the employer concerning the final invoice. Room was super nice. I don't know whether they upgraded me, but I had two double beds in my room, rather than the single room I booked. So, it was really spacious and luxurious compared to some places I had stayed at. Underfloor heating which heated the room really well, great bathroom, good sized closet, good location.

The location was perfect to explore old town Bamberg. The boutique hotel is in an old building but the facilities were all modern. A lift for luggage and tired legs was much appreciated although the beautiful old timber staircase was a delight to use also. The decor was lovely. Breakfast served in the modern hotel restaurant was excellent and generous - both inside and outdoor dining on offer and a great start to the day.
