The staff and owner were very friendly and extremely helpful. Dinner and breakfast is included which makes the deal even better. If you are doing the Quilotoa loop this is the perfect place to stay in Sigchos. You can also request a lunch to go for the next day for a very reasonable price.

Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre.

We stayed in the Azul room and it was an incredible view looking over the valley. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, and the location was unbeatable. We stayed the night before starting the Quilotoa trail and it was right beside the trailhead.

This place is honestly amazing - we had heard good things about it and certainly weren’t disappointed. I would definitely recommend spending a bit more on a private room with Mountain View, it was such a fantastic place to rest after a day hiking. Great facilities, friendly staff, what more could you want.

Rosita is lovely and welcoming, we enjoyed staying in and her cozy, clean apartment. The apartment is a great place to stay for anyone doing the Quilotoa walk or just visiting Isinlivi, and includes a kitchen and private bathroom. Rosita also showed us her cuy and chicken farm and even took us on a walk around the town. Easy to get cheap lunch box for the next days walk from a nearby shop for $3.5 or $1 for just a sandwich. The Italian restaurant up the road is perfect for dinner and affordable. We just made our own oats for breakfast.

Everything was really good: all the beds are super comfy, nice size for all rooms, extremely clean and tidy. Also, there are several options for food and drink; be advised that you must pre-order breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so they are ready for you.

The location is perfect for visiting the Quilotoa Laguna. The room was clean and the bad was comfy. The shower had hot water and we also had a fire oven and a electrical heater in the room which saved our live. Breakfast and Dinner have been included, both were very good and more than enough.

Quilotoa is a beautiful lake to walk around but I would never choose to stay in the town.
