Short drive to San Pedro or Marbella so if looking to get out of touristy city for cobbled streets, hills, and more authenticity it’s a great place. Benahavis is the perfect town in the hills away from the coast but only about 20 minutes away should you wish to visit a beach or the Marbella area. So many great restaurants and bars to choose from in Benahavis for such a quiet town. Views of the surrounding area are superb. Where to start!
Where to start! We were looked after from the moment we arrived. It is without doubt my happy place in this world. Burkhard, Margo, Nick and Grita look after you like nowhere else. Food is amazing. We stayed 4 nights and ate in the restaurant 3 nights. Only missed 1 night as we ate with family at their apartment. Breakfast also is out of this world. All freshly prepared. Thank you Margo. Accommodation wise we were upgraded to the Horse Thief's room. It was fantastic. And we found the hidden treasure! We have dined at Amanhavis on several occasions in the past and it has always been excellent. Always wanted to stay and so glad we did. It is without doubt an unforgettable experience. The place is spacious, very clean, and fully equipped with everything you need. The swimming pools are well maintained, and Regina is a great host—helpful, friendly, and responsive. Everything is easily reachable by car, making it a convenient base to explore the area. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here, and we would definitely love to come back again.
