Self-checkin worked well received text message instructions all good. The room was clean, the bathroom also and a good working shower. Location brilliant write in the heart of the old town with two bars on your doorstep and lovely restaurants near by. Parking a bit of an issue, probably depends on what time of year you stay. The Monasterio Barcelo added 10% to our accommodation and...
The Monasterio Barcelo added 10% to our accommodation and meal charges and 21% to our Spa use fees. This amounted to over 65 euros extra to our bill for a two night stay, and we couldn’t even get a table at the restaurant. Beautiful building and surroundings. The room was luxurious with big bed and lots of space. Cooked breakfast available and good with fresh orange juice. Loved the outdoor cafe. We struggled but did find somewhere to eat as there had been a running event in town (late May) and everywhere was booked up. Got back to the hotel and found that they were doing wood fired pizzas, looked great but we had already eaten by then - doh!
