For me one of the most important things about an albergue is the host. On this occasion the host was facing a difficult personal situation beyond his control and yet this had no negative impact on the level of service or hospitality. I was so impressed with how welcome I was made at the end of a particularly long day. I was even asked if I was hungry and offered a meal at 5.30pm which I gratefully accepted! That's the place to love - you can see from the pics and other reviews. I took it to be able not just to take a rest, but also to work online, and it worked great. Fully equipped kitchen allowed me to cook, the supermarket is 2 steps away, the washing machine was very handy, too. I am also really thankful that I was able to check in a bit earlier. Location is great, but since the window overlooks a park and small street at some hours it can be a bit heard. Oh, and the possibility to put my bicycle inside without a problem - what a relief! Thank you Julia.

We’d booked a while ago to stay one night as part of El Camino. We’d forgotten we’d booked an apartment so absolutely loved the size and the facilities.

The room was clean and spacious. There were many hooks in the room and bathroom - quite rare on the Camino. Water pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. A backyard where you can dry your clothes and a bucket full of pegs - another rarity on the Camino. WiFi signal was strong and consistent. Most surprising of all - the kitchen was stocked with juice, fruits, packaged pastries, coffee and tea so you can make your own breakfast free of charge. There was also a regular washing machine in the kitchen which you can use free of charge. The owners run a restaurant in the next street and the dinner was delicious- try their pork ribs.
