This was just what we were looking for - a small, quiet country village. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area, the nice walking/hiking paths through the Sierra, and enjoying the friendly local villagers. The accommodations are modest. The posada is a rustic, historic old house that has been updated and provides all your basic needs. Breakfast is provided and is very good. When not out exploring the area, we enjoyed sitting on the veranda overlooking the garden or chatting and having a glass of wine one of the common areas.

Lovely restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals.... we ate breakfast and we had a lovely evening meal..also they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne as we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. Perfect: room, bed, personal, and breakfast. We were traveling with our baby, which is always stressful because you don't know in advance if the place is going to be comfortable and suitable for him. The personal was extremely nice and helpful with us, providing us with a crib and a baby bath without even asking, also with a high chair in the common area. The room was pretty spacious and the bed really really comfortable. The breakfast is insanely good. The hotel is located in the center of Almonaster.

The Finca is very good and enjoyable for a stay. The apartment rooms have two individual rooms, bedroom and living room with a kitchenette. There is also a fireplace making it comfy in wintertimes. The owner is very nice and helpful if you need some support. The location is good centrally for hiking or whatever you do in the area.

Charming and wonderful property. Check in needed Google translate, but all was completed. Fantastic communal area in the old mill house. Very comfortable room and the delightfully cool pool was welcome after a hot day. Excellent restaurant a 5 minute walk away (Lieva).
