As expected, the hotel was rather isolated but as it was located on a cliff top, surrounded on three sides by the sea, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, we couldn't fault it for location. Warm welcome by staff who spoke good English. View from the very comfortable and well appointed room was exceptional. Simple, delicious food and well stocked bar.

The room was spacious, well lit with huge windows overlooking the street. The sheets were clean, the bed comfortable and the daily cleaning kept everything in order. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again! What really stood out is that the rooms look exactly as on the photos, which is sometimes not the case!

I basically liked everything so much. It was clean, comfortable, big room, good breakfast, good value for money, right in the city center. A big plus for it being pet friendly (even if at the time i was travelling without my dog). Such a great place for a pelegrino ro have a 2 days rest.

Amazing place. It’s a great hotel if you want to stay in the center of everything. Close to the beach and landmarks. The room is neat and tidy. I got a free upgrade and I enjoyed my stay here. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

I love more rural areas, the peace and quiet of it all, but...

I love more rural areas, the peace and quiet of it all, but close enough be in town for sight seeing, or other historical sights. Plenty of things to do and explore. The Botanical Gardens, the Cathedral Cultural Center, Gijon downtown and Old Town, Oveida to name a few. I wish we had spent more time there.

….personal recommendations of restaurants and places to visit which were well received. The hotel also catered for dogs, and my little Bella had a great time running round the beautiful garden. We could have stayed much longer as the hotel and Gijon were so nice.

We stayed here on our way from the ferry in Bilbao on our way to Galicia and we definitely chose the best place! This is a beautiful country guesthouse in a quiet rural enclave with spectacular views and a wonderful welcome. Just ten minutes' drive from the centre of Gijon, it offers the best of both worlds - a restful, peaceful country retreat and easy access to the city centre and beaches. Cristina could not have been more attentive and hospitable. The rooms are lovely with real attention to detail from the artisan toiletries to the freshly cut off flowers. We had a garden room that looked out over the gardens and rolling fields and beyond over Gijon. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful, complete with homebaked shortbread! Cristina was also very pet friendly which was much appreciated. We will be back! We highly recommend to anyone staying in Gijon.
