Guemes is just the most lovely tiny town in northern Spain!
Guemes is just the most lovely tiny town in northern Spain! I was walking the Camino and stayed just one night this time but want to come back and spend a week here using it as a hub for cycling in the area. The restaurant at the hotel is top notch, too - the bacaloa de pisto I ate there was simply divine!!!Guest review byKimUnited States

We needed an overnight stay before catching the ferry from Santander, this was perfect. A short walk is a nice locals bar for a beer, although if you want to eat at the bar, food was served a little late for us at 9 pm. There is another restaurant but it was shut when we were there.
