The host Pedro could not do enough for us, a superb host who meet us, showed us round his beautiful house and explained in detail all the local sites that we could visit. The 200 year old accommodation is breath taking, absolutely stunning with wooden beams, exposed stonework, sloping floors, stone stairs and an original well and water feature. A lovely breakfast was provided and the whole house is extremely clean and well equipped, which even included table tennis & bar football tables. The house is in the centre of the village with shops, bars and restaurants all nearby.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards.

The place is fabulous, located in a former convent well preserved and beautifully decorated. The location is good, access to their parking vey easy (unlike for other paradores), staff very nice, services impeccable.
