The host is easy to communicate with and the location is great, close to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed big and comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant twice and the food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast a buffet and has many good options. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can recommend this property.

Gibraltar on your left and African Atlas mountains in front of you ..breathtaking view. Juan and his son Ramon are exceptionally welcoming, they couldn't do enough for the guests- offering coffees on the house on arrival, beer in the evening , beach towels ..you name it. Good sized rooms , immaculately clean . Breakfast has good variety of food and very tasty. Only 40ish minutes drive to Tarifa - southernmost point of the continental Europe. Small car recommended as its off the main path and the road is very narrow and curvy - arriving in daylight would be the best option. Rocky beach on short walk (Juan and Ramon would direct you if you ask ) , one sandy beach that's not accessible by car is 40ish minutes walk ,other car accessible one is 20ish minutes drive. Amazing location when it comes to Strait of Gibraltar, ferry from Tarifa brings you to straight to Tangier, Morocco , in an hour or so , I'm planning longer visit for next time definitely. It was really a great experience. Very good price-quality ratio; nice staff, very welcoming and smily. Honestly, I would really recommend the hotel as it is located literally in front of the entrance of Puerto Algeciras and the quality is very high compared to the other options nearby (also the price is very reasonable).

This place was a hidden gem. Hotel Reina Cristina is affordable, but beautiful. It's like a Manor House with olde worlde charm. Gorgeous interiors, spacious rooms, two swimming pools. Close walk to things to see and do: the market place, Plaza Alta, Parc Maria Cristina. A longer walk up the hill to the old aqueduct. It's also a quick trip to Gibraltar for the day.

Incredibly beautiful view from the window, the coastline, you wake up and immediately see the sea! What more could you want? Of the excursions, we chose to take a ferry ride to Ceuta and the location of the apartment is perfect for such a tour! The apartments are beautiful, even a beer from the owner was waiting for us, which made us even more pleased when we arrived in the middle of the night. Recommend for relaxation.
