The hotel is located 10- 15 minutes from the Barajas airport. There is a hotel free Shuttle that comes and gos every 30 minutes to the Barajas hotel with a capacity of about 20 passengers, make sure you book in advance as there may be hours when it is full. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. There is a supermarket and some restaurants nearby and it is a nice place to walk with the big avenues. Personle is friendly and eager to help when needed.

Stunning hotel with excellent service. Everything was absolutely beautiful; I felt totally pampered. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the bathrooms had every convenience, including L'Occitane products. Room controls (including window shades) were accessible while in bed. I ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Service was amazing again (I was there on the early side for the sunset) and the food was good (not outstanding.) The hotel is right on the Plaza de Espagna, which is where I wanted to stay, but a little ways from the museums and other sites.

Great location to walk around the city. Small room but clean and the bed is comfortable. I left items inside the safe deposit and the staff very kindly kept it for me to pick up. The hotel doesn't serve hot breakfast but provides free coffee, juice, fruits, and cookies for free all day.

    We stayed within walking distance to the Prado Museum and enjoyed the surrounding area. Beautiful, elegant architecture. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and bakeries in our area. Lots of public transportation options. Parking would be a hassle to find and the traffic is always bad so I wouldn't want to drive there. Taxis + Ubers are reasonable, all our drivers were great. Don't miss the Prado, it's an awesome place!

    Madrid is lively and safe where we were.

    Madrid is lively and safe where we were. People are nice but noisy. I wish i had another day to see other attractions. We went to Prado museum and alcazar and the Cathedral and went to see a bullfight. We had a good time but didn't have much time for other attractions

    One of the best cities I visited in Europe.

    One of the best cities I visited in Europe. I have visited Madrid several times, I have seen most of its attractions, but I still would go again. People are great, super friendly. parks are very nice, especially Retiro park. I loved wax museum. Loved Sol and Gran Via. Transportation is easy and very nice.

    The churros dipped in hot chocolate, the beautiful buildings, the way the streets all came alive in the unbelievably beautiful dusk and evenings, the outdoor dining, the Tinto de Verde drinks, the metro system (after a certain learning curve), and the overall friendliness of the people combined to make Madrid an unforgetable experience.

    Great art museums, a must go for anybody interested in paintings. The Royal Palace was very impressive and enables the viewer to appreciate Spanish history and royalty. Liked the food and drinks scene in Madrid a lot. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars all over the place particularly in Centro. Also the day trips out of MAdrid to Toled and Segovia were very good

    I loved the vibrant atmosphere, the crowd on the streets. Gran Via reminded me our Big Apple, by Times Square! Our fav spots were along Gran Via, but we ventured outside the town, in Segovia . In Madrid, I liked the gardens of the the Temple of Debod, from where I could have a panoramic view of many spots of Madrid. It is very easy to get around Madrid, using Metro, trains and Cercanias (local buses) Almost all of them are interconnected ( wherever you stop at one station with the sign 'correspondent') you can use the same fare. Be prepared to walk and go on 'escaleras' since the metro lines runs deep on the ground.

    The hotel is located just next to the Chamartín train station which is very convenient for me as I made quite a few day trips to small cities / towns north of Madrid. It is far from Madrid city centre but it’s quite easy to take the metro too, so for me it’s not a problem. It has a great outdoor pool despite the water being a bit chilly. The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties, both cold and warm items. The hotel is of very good value for money indeed if you don’t need to live in city centre.

    An amazing place to stay in Madrid. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and they always responded to our requests. The breakfast was really good, but if you can find a good deal via Booking, just take it(on site is 15 euros). The hotel has good connection with the city centre. The nearest metro station is about 10 minutes walking. Overall I recommend this place to stay and definitely we will book for a second time in Madrid.

    I really liked the airport transfer that took me from the airport to the hotel and also back again. The room was clean and I had the facilities I needed. There is a metro close to the hotel, and a little cornershop/supermarket. The metro went all the way to the city centre of Madrid.
