The hotel is situated in the National Park and it was only minutes drives away from the beautiful and interesting old white villages of Pampaneira, Bubion and Capiieira. Great for exploring with restaurants, shops and bars, as well as country walks. I recommend the walk from Pampaneira to the Cascades, waterfalls. The hotel is very good and clean, quiet, and charming. We had a large room with a modern bathroom en-suite and a balcony. Beds excellent and plenty of storage and as the evenings were chilly, the good heating made it very comfortable. Great choices and plenty to eat for breakfast. Mecina Fondales is not as touristic as other places in...
Mecina Fondales is not as touristic as other places in Alpujarra and well connected with other villages. Small hiking trails lead to several nice spots in the surrounding. There are enough options to eat excellent food and enjoy the stay. Mecina is full of flowers and smelly plants. The many water sources makes the place unique.Guest review byarazzaItaly
