Mengibar offers little in terms of bars or restaurants, with the exception of local cafes, there wasn't anywhere to get a good quality meal in an attractive setting. Unfortunately, Mengibar isn't a particularly attractive town with no points of interest.

Not much to see or do in the town but it is quite Small and...

Not much to see or do in the town but it is quite Small and conveniently located close to several other places of interest eg: Jaen, Baeza, Úbeda. The prettiest place in Mengibar is the main town square where this beautiful hotel was located. Also s good stop over place between Malaga/Granada and Madrid. Y The hotel has a good restaurant serving mostly local and Spanish dishes.

Did not have breakfast. Hotel is a very individual building. Had exclusive use of the spa. Meal was excellent value and well presented. Could have been more comfortable if served at a slower pace!
