Hospitality service when we arrived was incredible, we have never been treated so well and felt so welcome. The facilities and the room was amazing, i had pre booked the spa experience and massage and the attention to detail was beyond expectations. We booked the large room for 6 people even though it was only two of us. The room was fantastic- great view of the city and the sea. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the living space was large. There was a full open kitchen with all the appliances you’d ever need along with a large fridge. Some guest houses feel squished but this felt like a real apartment you could live in. I’d definitely stay again!

Mijas is pretty. Lots of bars and restaurants. It can be hilly and there are lots of steps/ cobbled streets so may be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. There is a lot of traffic through Mijas and not many just pedestrianised areas so you do need to be aware of traffic when walking around the narrow streets.

it is a lovely town, friendly with lots of good restaurants and small shops. The park area around the old bullring and church was very nice (I was happy that the bullring wasn't in use). As an animal lover, the donkeys and horses seemed to be well looked after. At least I hope they were. The bus service in the centre of the town was excellent. The walks in the mountains were great. The staff in the Tourist Centre were helpful. The atmosphere at night was nice and pleasant. The white washed houses were nice and the history of the town was interesting.

We find the location perfect.

We find the location perfect. For the best food , entertainment from brilliant staff a must visit is The Garden Bar. Photo of owners with my family & the collection of butterflies. From visiting Mijas Pueblo, Fuengirola & the markets. Lots of lovely restaurants in the surrounding area including La Cala. Best Paella is Antonio’s on the boardwalk. 10 minutes walk .

I have been to Mijas Pueblo many times and love it more each time. The hills can be a challenge but I really love walking around the upper quieter streets..and there are some very good places to eat !

A very beautiful village with lots of stores, restaurants (some were amazing!), bars, and mostly lots of character and history. It is super clean. Welcoming feeling. Lots of nooks and crannies to enjoy walks. There is a bus to the beach area and lots of taxis close to arrange as needed.

We used local buses to get around, so cheap, less than 2 euros to Malaga ! You do need to embrace bus travel as a holiday experience as sometimes they are late but hey you are on holiday and not in a rush! Mijas Pueblo is very pretty we loved the variety of restaurants, shops, gardens and wonderful views, we coud walk into the village and back although sometimes a taxi back to Hearts and Home was taken, around 6 euros. It was the festival honoring the patron saint, the Virgen de la Peña, on September for 6 days whilst we were there, a fantastic example of the community coming together.

Great welcome, comfortable bed and a very tasty, cooked breakfast. Luther and Sarah have created a very special place to stay. The rooms are comfy but not fancy but the little touches make all the difference. Tea and coffee on tap, free fruit and water and a very well priced honesty bar with lots of outside seating with views over the mountains. Very quiet location but with easy access to Mijas pueblo and the coast.

Chsrming family run hotel. Exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a nice little outside section with table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine. Wonderfully central and a great example of Mijas Pueblo accommodation. Shower worked well and room cleaned daily. Would certainly recommend. Owners were charming.

The apartment was in a beautiful location in a very modern block. Furnishings and fittings were excellent. The view from the terrace over to Mijas and the coast was breathtaking. Good, easy access to the swimming pool. The car park was a huge plus. A very quick ,easy walk into the centre of Mijas Pueblo.
