We spent two nights in Monistrol, and it takes all day to see the monastery. (I noticed in Barcelona that some tours offer a six hour visit there, counting travel time, and that's not enough.) Monistrol is one train stop away from the cable cars up to the monastery, and we got an early start and only had to wait about ten minutes for a cable car, The view of the mountain from our hotel window was amazing.Guest review byDouglasUnited States

The hotel management came by especially for us and very obligingly helped us to park the long bike safely. Our room was rustic in an interesting way and very clean.
