    We love it & we come every year.

    We love it & we come every year. We like the way of life here & the area is quiet. Don’t expect a party atmosphere it is more Spanish, however a lot of English retire here or have holiday homes.

    Quiet area. Has a main strip with bars and restaurants. The Strandcafe opposite the beach serves lovely food very reasonably priced. One of my favourite beaches 🏖️. Have been holidaying here for over 30 years

    Restaurant Casa Ana in nearby Campoverde was excellent and at 9.50 euros for the menu del dia (menu of the day) was amazing value. Great walks along the Rio Seco, the coast and around the salt lakes.

    It wasn’t our first visit to Orihuela Costa however first trip to Pilar de la Horadada area and it was well worth it. Área is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely sandy beaches, great for walking and relaxing in the sun. Very clean and well maintained area for visitors. It wasn’t seasonal but we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the place and we took advantage of it. Visiting beach area first thing in morning to admire the sunrise and/or enjoy the sunset. There’s a Chinese buffet restaurant in the area - highly recommend it. You can enjoy playing tennis as there are tennis courts. Two restaurants on the way to the beach, pharmacy, medical centre, local shop and cash point. All in the area. Honestly you got everything and more in this area.

    We have been coming here for over 20 years & it is perfect...

    We have been coming here for over 20 years & it is perfect for what we want for a holiday. It’s not a party area so it’s great for families & couples who like a relaxed holiday. We take our bikes with us so we get to see different areas around whilst enjoying the scenery. The beaches are beautiful & have lovely sand. There are also lifeguards on some of them. They all have bar/restaurants on them & the food is always good 🙂

    It is very central to a lot of locations should you want a base to travel from. The town has good shops and a variety of restaurants and is good value for money. We walked to torre de La horadada and had many lovely meals in the square in the evenings.

    Very comfortable, spacious upper floor apartment with solarium, which was just 5 mins walk from the town square in Pilar de la Horadada. Perfect for cycling/running as you can be on a camino within 60 seconds, and the Campo del Cartagena canal is only 3 kms away. The lovely seafronts at El Mojon, Lo Pagan and Santiago de la Ribera are all within easy cycling or driving distance.

    Great 3 bed with 2 upstairs terraces..It looks new inside, very close to the beach.Towels bedding all supplied.A car is essential .The Town of pilar de la horadada 5 mins away. We highly recommend this property and will not hesitate to book again. The agent although we did not meet them let us know all we needed to re keys .

    The hotel was in an Amazing location right in the middle of the the town , room was cleaned every day by house keeping , we had a small terrace which was really nice , the rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable, air conditioning was amazing and kept the room nice and cool
