The hotel is located in a magnificent spot, with a gorgeous beach just a 2-minute walk away. The surrounding landscapes are stunning, and there are several scenic trails perfect for easy hikes. The hotel itself is in good condition, very clean, with comfortable mattresses. It can get a bit warm during hot weather, as the air conditioning isn’t the hotel’s strongest feature. Fortunately, we were lucky with the weather — it wasn’t too hot, so the room was comfortable.

Absolutely amazing stay! We had a fantastic time here – everything was perfect from start to finish. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – which was great during the hot days. The bathrooms were large, spacious, and spotless – just like the rest of the house. The whole place was exceptionally clean and well cared for. The location was ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. The terrace with sea view was one of our favourite spots – perfect for morning coffee or a relaxing evening drink. The pool just outside the house was also a big highlight – clean, well-maintained, and great for both kids and adults. The host was kind, helpful, and very easy to communicate with. We really appreciated the warm welcome and local tips. We were a big family group, and the house was just perfect for us – very clean, comfortable, and with plenty of space for everyone. I travel several times a year and stay in different places – and usually, there’s always something I could point out or complain about. But here, everything was absolutely perfect – exactly like in the description and photos. Everything was simply great – we didn’t want to leave! This was definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and we’d love to come back. Highly recommended! 😊

We booked this apartment very last minute as we had an awful stay in the hotel we chose. Sabine was an excellent host, communicated well and very quick responses to all my questions. We loved it so much we have booked to go back next June 😊

We are of a certain age where peace and quiet are a prerequisite. This place had it in spades. We loved the outdoor space which was very private. It is a ground floor apartment but it still had lots of sunlight into it. The lounge space was gorgeous and had full height patio doors on two walls which provided great light should you need it. Beds were really comfortable. Parking for a car is great, literally four metres from the front door.

Immaculately clean, really tastefully decorated. Well equipped little kitchen. Super comfy beds. Air con worked well . Lovely, friendly staff. Pool is great and little pool for children. Great, quiet location for exploring the Calas of the south. We would definitely return!

Excellently equipped as a self catering property, lovely secluded pool area, plenty space. Location was beautiful, with a bus to the nearest towns just a few minutes walk away, as well as two beaches and a nature reserve on the doorstep! Wonderful.

    Lovely hotel in spacious well kept grounds, decent pools and access to quiet beach, great location, only annoyance was that as half board and not all-inclusive we were not allowed water (from a tap in restaurant) with dinner, needless annoyance for guests in my mind.

    The location is superb, set next to the great beaches of Cala Mondrago and amongst rolling pine forests in a protected nature reserve. The area is great for bathing and walking, and the hotel pool is a quiet alternative to the busy beaches. Porto Petro and the fishing village of Cala Figuera are both walkable along the cliff tops and their is a regular bus service to Cala D'Or further up the coast. Away from the beaches, it is a quiet area with few restaurants, but the food at the hotel, although basic, is usually quite adequate.

    The best part of Hotel Playa Mondrago were the staff. They were so attentive and no request was too much. They were all so friendly and uphold the family run business vibe of the hotel - making our stay all the more special and genuine. We had a delay on our way over and Juan was so helpful in arranging a taxi last minute to come and collect us from the airport. We loved the Cuban music night and the breakfast was delicious too. Fantastic location and great parking facilities as well. Room was spacious.

    It was a short but very enjoyable stay. The staff is very friendly and well spoken in French and English. A big thank you to Isabel that was really helpful and friendly. The view is wonderful and the surroundings were peaceful! My advice is to book a rental car as the taxi service in the area is hard to get.

    The hotel facilities - pools, restaurants, shops etc were all great. The entertainment was amazing, the best I’ve seen. The staff were amazing, always happy and smiling. Food was lovely.
