We selected Salobre due to closeness to 27 hole golf course. Proshop is on the ground floor of the hotel and golf cart you get in front of the hotel. We liked swimming in the heated pool and fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

EVERYTHING... Staying at Hotel Faro was incredible. I had half board and didn't have to worry about where or what to eat. The meals were delicious, and the selection of food in the buffet was extraordinary. Location is fantastic, just right in from of the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Can't recommend Hotel Faro enough. The live music every night is just a beautiful touch to unwind your day over a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. Not to forget the incredible staff, whom made me feel welcomed at all times. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.

The location was fantastic – you have plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as within the resort itself. It’s a perfect place to enjoy dinner and then take a nice evening walk, since the resort also has a kind of shopping area where you can spend time and relax. The hotel is directly by the sea, and you can see the ocean right from the property, which makes the view and atmosphere truly special. The resort itself feels like a palm tree oasis, with beautiful landscaping that gives you the impression of being in a tropical paradise. The large infinity pool was another highlight I really enjoyed.

    Nice location, very peaceful overlooking the golf course, but you need a car to visit the beaches and restaurants. The drive from the motorway to the house is a bit scary especially at night. Once inside Salobre there are seven speed bumps to navigate before reaching the house and this becomes a nuisance. The beach areas, bars and restaurants are for mass tourism and some might find this ugly. On the plus side the sunshine was fantastic. Finally the next door neighbour was banging and drilling a bit to often and when we read previous reviews we noticed that he has been doing these renovations for a long time.

    Even for non golfers the place was so relaxing with a huge area for long walks. Don't think it would be a holiday destination for a family. Smallest villas are two bed but furnished with double and twin rather than two doubles which I think would be better. There really are no activities for young children other than the pools at the villas or the larger open to all ones also within the complex.

    Very large efficiently run hotel off the beaten track. Ideal if you just want to play golf and use the spa. Unless you have a car, make sure you book half board as the hotel is a 20 minute drive from the nearest beach resort with restaurants.

    Salobe is very peaceful , upmarket and well kept.

    Salobe is very peaceful , upmarket and well kept. There is some building work on going to build new villas as infill - it did not disturb us. A car is absolutely necessary as it is probably 15 mins away from any facilities other than an onsite restaurant - very good but expensive - and a small convenience store

    Super experience at Salobre Hotel - go!

    Super experience at Salobre Hotel - go! A special thanks to the nice staff (Patricia, Adam, Fran and Cico) We enjoyed the resort a lot and also rented a car one day to go and see Mogán. That was a nice trip but you can also just use the transfer bus for free that the hotel offers.

    great place if you want to be remote from all the noisy hotels. Terrace, swimming pool, spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen was all we needed. Views form the terrace to the lights of the bay and stars is the sky was a great bonus. You need a car though.

    Wonderful hotel, very peaceful. Plenty of space despite being a large hotel. Room was beautiful. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Spa was also perfect for a massage and relaxed morning.
