Large, modern hotel, our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Parking is paid, private, underground. The breakfast was very good, buffet style, with hot dishes, fresh fruits, snacks and drinks, for people who do not consume gluten and lactose walk to the nearest metro station 10 minutes, go to the center another 10

Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

B arakaldo is a bourough of Bilbao.

B arakaldo is a bourough of Bilbao. IT is a good place to stay to visit the city. I was very impressed by the city, specially its architecture, both ancient/classic and modern. It definitely is worth a visit, say a week.

Good walking and cycling area well placed for visiting...

Good walking and cycling area well placed for visiting Bilbao without taking your car into the city good local bus service with a bus every half hour on the hour and half hour excellant metro service to city only 8 stops to the Guggenheim museum

The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/...

The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/manager, so some of the facilities were not available (no restaurant as it was being refurbished). The bed was terribly soft, although I managed to sleep OK. It wasn't a difficult trip into the main part of Barakaldo (this was El Regato) either by car or by bus and there were many walkers the following day, following the river into town .

Breakfast is very good above average, however we requested gluten-free for one guest. We had pre booked this request, and at breakfast, we're told we should have ordered this the night before. Never had to do this at any other hotel. If this is the case, it needs to be made clear on checking. The guest managed without bread.

Located well for local shopping complex. Bus service in to Bilbao just across the road. mertro station 10 mins away. Excellent car parking under the hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous, but clearly because it's their job, not so genuine.

The self check-in was very easy and helpful because our flight landed late. The metro station is just few minutes walk from the hotel. There are also a lot of restaurants and bars nearby
