We are frequent travelers and I must say that Casa Doňano is one of the best we have experienced in Europe. The house has a mystical atmosphere, it is a wonderful and sensitive reconstruction of a rural historical building with the corresponding equipment. It filled us with positive energy there. The owners (a lady from Brazil and a gentleman from Holland) were very kind and helpful, and at the same time they were extremely pleasant communication partners for us. The room was absolutely lovely , the bed was like sleeping in my own bed . It was spacious and comfortable with a coffee machine , toiletries and air conditioning . I had a lovely breakfast of fruit , pastries and meat and cheese .

Aurora gave us very detailed and helpful explanations and tips about Ribadeo, its surrounding area, including the Ais Catedrais Beach, and the Indianos Festival, which helped us immensely in making the most of our visit. Our room had a small balcony from which you could admire the scenery and it was pleasantly decorated in a maritime style. We loved our breakfasts, expertly prepared by Israel, and will try to imitate them at home. We really enjoyed being in this hotel which had a very special, homely atmosphere and a superb location near the port.

The location was an easy walk to Ribadeo town and the faro Isla pancha lighthouse. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed breakfast time and meeting and talking with Sagrario who was very friendly and chatty.
