This was a complete scam. The address listed on the listing and what was provided to us on the day of arrival were 2 hours apart. Because the owner didn’t give us the correct t information until we were within the cancellation period, I was unable to cancel and find alternative accommodation. He also refused to give us a full refund.

    Not much going on in the town itself, but centrally located...

    Not much going on in the town itself, but centrally located for outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. There are bodegas to visit just up road neat Landete. We used Talayueas as a base for two days. We visited in march and weather was cool and sunny - great for hiking. But it is "off season" so places to attractions and restaurants were either closed or limited hours.

    For the rest it was a fantastic area. Quite and calm!

    For the rest it was a fantastic area. Quite and calm! There were no coffee and coffee machine in the hotel! No kettle for warm the water to make a tea or coffee! Neither in the rooms nor in common areas! Food is generally the worst in Spain i have ever tasted! For a good (to eat something not for surviving) "Restaurant" is 10 km away. Hotel has a kitchen to prepare your food, their restaurant was really bad execpt salad.
