Everything was perfect. This hotel could be classified as a 4 or 5 star hotel! The reception was awesome, the hotel is very nicely designed, big comfortable room that is sound proof. Restaurant next door has a great menu and I enjoyed my stay immensely.

During my recent trip to the Basque region of Spain, my stay at the Iriarte Jauregia hotel was an absolute highlight. Despite only staying for one night, this 17th-century palace left a lasting impression and quickly became my favorite place from the entire trip. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning architecture and the meticulously designed decor that perfectly blends historic charm with modern elegance. My room was incredible, offering a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the countryside. The sound of cows grazing with bells around their necks added a peaceful, Alpine-like ambiance that made my stay even more special. The culinary experience at Iriarte Jauregia was exceptional. With two on-site restaurants, I enjoyed some of the finest food and wine of my trip. Dinner was a gourmet delight, featuring creative dishes that highlighted local flavors. Breakfast was equally impressive, providing a wide array of delicious options that set a perfect tone for the day. The staff at Iriarte Jauregia were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made my stay all the more enjoyable. In summary, Iriarte Jauregia is a true gem in the Basque countryside. The magnificent palace, the remarkable decor, the incredible food and wine, and the unparalleled service all contribute to an unforgettable experience. The views were unbelievable, and the whole experience was extraordinary. I went for a two-day solo retreat and booked an additional three days. I would highly recommend going for a long walk all around the area. The hotel provided a map to go for a beautiful walk. I would also highly recommend booking a service in the spa. I rarely book hotel treatments because they are often overpriced, but the massage and facial were exceptional. Another tip is to try the local yoghurt with their forest honey for breakfast. I have travelled to many 5-star hotels, and I can't even put it in a comparable category. The food, amenities, service, people and property and attention to detail were exceptional. My last tip is to really enjoy the hotel, go for a walk, and enjoy the spa, and the pool is not for swimming but for pure relaxation with massage jets. There is a beautiful room at the spa to watch the ocean to mediation music, eat at their 3star restaurant and watch the unbelievable sunset.

The hotel is a basque traditional structure worth to visit not onfly for the large rooms and the exceptional and abundant breskfasts but overall for the kindness of mrs Maria, the madame who has been running the hotel for the last 52 years and is now helped by her son and doughter. She is also the cook of extraordinary suppers you can have in the hotel restaurant. The kindness of this family is the ingredient that will make your trip great!

    We got a room with an amazing view for one night only... would stay longer if we could. The mattress was very comfortable, room and bathroom good size, and very quiet. Also we had free parking just in front of the hotel. There is breakfast available in the hotel for a good value for money. Staff was really helpful and recommended a very good and pleasant place to eat local food.

    Tolosa is a modern, inexpensive Hotel, set in a good central location, and within same day travel distance of San Sebastan, Pamplona, Bilboa, St Jean de Luz. It is only 30 mins from several beaches. The girls in reception, Gabriella and Andrea, are wonderful. Beds were comfortable. The room had a balcony which was very nice. The Hotel food is good.

    This is a fabulous apartment in the heart of the old town in Tolosa. The owner has gone to great effort to furnish it. It has everything you need, a great kitchen and bathroom with a slightly quirky touch to the furnishings. We had a great stay using it as a base for a short cycling holiday.

    Great hotel in the centre of a beautiful town. Good sized rooms, big comfortable bed and friendly staff. They have a garage around the corner to store our bikes. Because it’s in the heart of the town, it can’t be helped that the traffic noise starts early. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Lovely stylish hotel in a nice location. Staff are very friendly and efficient. We had also a nice dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Parking can be easily found on the road or in the close by underground parking.
