The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, with a somewhat dated but very characteristic interior. The breakfast and the diners were of an excellent quality. The hotel staff proved very helpful in getting us the best room available. During our last night in the hotel we experienced a false fire alarm. To compensate us for this the hotel gave us a considerable reduction on the agreed tariff and costs for meals. The hotel staff is to be complemented for this!Guest review byMichielNetherlands

The hotel has bags of character and the personal touch from the staff. The room was up two floors (no lift) with creaky, uneven floors and shutters on the windows (instead of curtains/blinds).
