The apartment was right in the middle of town and yards from tge Camino. We had an excellent night's rest there and our host was very quick to respond to all messages. It was also amazingly good value for money! Would recommend to anyone!

I loved staying at Casa de Balea. I arrived early but was allowed to check in after informing them ahead of time. It was located right on my camino trail and although going up a few flight of stairs to get to my room in the second floor was a bit of a challenge with my aching legs and feet, getting to my room was a great reward. The room and the bathroom were so pretty, spacious, and clean. I was assigned the Greenpeace room and the room was decorated in blue and with stuff on Greenpeace. The whole pension had a whale and eco-friendly vibe, which I loved. There were living rooms where you could sit and read with a view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was strong. Wifi was free. The pension was a short walk away from cafe bars. Breakfast was delicious and filled me up perfectly before I started my walk the following day. I also got a lovely gift from the owner to remember them by. Very memorable place.

Very friendly landlady, room was very clean and large. Accommodation is a family-run farm with a few cattle that you can watch from the room. Breakfast was amazing (I'm actually only used to it in Austria), eggs, bread, cheese, pancakes, dessert, jam... everything was there. Dinner is optional (4 course menu with regional specialties)...but you have to be very hungry, otherwise you won't be able to do it.
